Hello!
I’m Kyle, a Robotics Engineer at The National Robotarium, the UK’s centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, where I am currently focusing on developing soft robotic systems applicable for industrial settings.
I recently obtained my Ph.D. in Marine and Soft Robotics from the University of Edinburgh (Sept. 2023), where I worked on predictive disturbance rejection for underwater vehicles and soft manipulators using model-based methods. I also spent time at TU Delft (Netherlands) and Tohoku University (Japan) through research stays as part of this project.
Previously, I completed an MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde and worked part-time for a MedTech start-up, Bioliberty, developing assistive and rehabilitative robotics.
